Stone & Lime, a masonry restoration contractor, has a long history of working on historic restoration projects along the east coast spanning from Florida to Maine. Kenneth Uracius and Patricia Pelchat started Stone & Lime in 2004 to supply hard to find masonry restoration products to the construction industry. As the use of these historically correct products in the restoration market increased, Stone & Lime was asked to provide labor, in addition to the materials, to work on these projects.

The following is a list of projects where Stone and Lime provided both the materials and labor. These masonry restoration projects include: Fort Jefferson, Fort Adams, Fort Washington, Fort Pickens, Fort Pike, Fort Jackson, Monticello, Poplar Forest, Blair House, Royal Orchard, Ochre Court, The Breakers, Newport Country Club, Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian House at Florida Southern University, High Bridge NY and many others.

Stone & Lime also has a sister company in Freedom Cement, LLC, started to provide historically accurate materials to restoration contractors. In 2010 Freedom Cement resumed production of natural cement from Rosendale New York. We currently produce natural cement from the Lawrence mine in Rosendale. Freedom Cement is the only supplier that publicly declares its natural cement rock is mined in Rosendale, NY and has full control of the production and distribution of natural cement from Rosendale, NY.
